Welcome to the 148th Carnival of the Mobilists… the American Presidential Election Issue (and perhaps the issue that will get MOPocket to start blogging regularly again!)
On the eve before the US presidential election we have some really good posts from around the mobile blogosphere.
To begin with lets discuss the iPhone issue:
Jamie Wells of Mobile Stance asks an interesting question: Is the iPhone a major indicator of an eroding middle class?
While Matt Radford of AllAboutiPhone asks” How many applications does the average iphone owner install?
In the foreign (from an American point of view) policy section:
The Digital Evangelist reports from the Symbian Smartphone show to tell us that Symbian should have but has yet to have learned anything from Psion.
Dennis from WapReview writes about the always interesting explosion in African Mobile Browsing!
When it comes to Change:
The always interesting Ajit Jaokar of FutureText tells us about his search for the IMS/NGN application that is A multimedia version of Kindle.
When it comes to election policy:
Barbara Ballard of Little Spings Design has a look at touch screen designs and how it translates to the mobile touch screen psyche.
James Cooper from the new hit Mjelly takes a look at a positive example of Bluetooth Casting!
And in the arena of the broadband debate:
And Ari Zoldan of GoingWimax ponders the upcoming broadband slugfest and asks if Wimax can come on top of its competitors.
From MOpocket we have a brief discussion of some of the dirty ads Sprint has had regarding Google’s Android.
Now, I want to remind every American Citizen to vote on election day Tuesday November 3. And on that Note my vote goes to the WapReviews article on Africa’s Mobile browsing. I have always thought that kind of stuff both important and fascinating!
Next weeks CArnival is at MArk Van Hoofts Ubiquitous Thoughts
See you then!

Hey, Justin — I’ve been trying to reach you for a couple of days… can you drop me a line or send me an updated phone number? [And there’s no “submit” button on the Mopocket Contact page… are you playing hard to get?!]
